There is some rust on the back of the helmet stand due to age (see image), but it is in usable condition.
It also comes with an armor stand, so it's fine for display.
The helmet, torso, and chains are all made of iron. The鍬形 (kuwagata - horn-like ornament), front plate, and decorative metal fittings are brass-plated. The armor stand and armor chest are made of wood. The helmet's joining parts, lacing, etc., are all handmade.
The material cost alone seems to be quite high.
