I bought this on a whim one summer during high school. I think it was around the time I became interested in the Pacific War. I wanted to use this game to somewhat understand what Japanese soldiers were thinking as they fought on the battlefield and to empathize with them. However, as someone whose experience with shooting games stopped at Splatoon, let alone Battlefield, I either froze up or was immediately engulfed in gunfire, and it wasn't fun at all. I remember putting down the controller and starting on some of my summer homework, which I wouldn't normally do.
