About the Artist: Du Junjie (born 1979) is a Chinese painter from Sichuan Province, China.

He began studying painting in his childhood and honed his skills at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He then studied under the renowned master of Chinese painting, Sun Qifeng, receiving dedicated instruction for many years.

He further trained at the Military Culture College of the National Defense University, where he received guidance from leading Chinese painters such as Li Xiang, Xu Li, Guo Shifu, and Wu Yueshi.

He is currently affiliated with the Chinese Painting Creation Institute as an associate researcher. He also serves as a director of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a researcher at the Sun Qifeng Painting and Calligraphy Art Institute, and a painter at the Beijing Han Hong Painting and Calligraphy Academy.

He has been recognized as a National First-Class Artist and has held positions such as a specially appointed painter at the Sichuan Provincial Academy of Poetry, Calligraphy, and Painting, and vice chairman of the Beijing Sichuanese Painters and Calligraphers Association.

He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions, and his works are collected in museums, galleries, and by collectors both domestically and internationally.

Some of his works have been presented as national gifts overseas.

He is highly regarded for his delicate brushwork and elegant style, working broadly across flower-and-bird, landscape, and figure painting.
