Born 1941 in Kansas, USA.
Studied art at Wesleyan University and Columbia University.
After working at TIME magazine for about 8 years, he dedicated himself to creative work in 1972.
Held his first solo exhibition in Washington in 1973.
Released his first silkscreen print in 1979.
Exhibited at the White House Easter Egg exhibition in 1982.
Selected for the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1986.
Appointed image artist for the Urban Resort Fair Kobe '93 in 1991.
Created official Christmas cards for President Clinton for three consecutive years from 1994 to 1996.
Drew and donated a cityscape for the reconstruction of Kobe in 1995.
