Description
This is a work by a Norwegian artist. It was created in the 1990s, and I recall purchasing it for around 20,000 yen at the time.
It was displayed on the wall for a while, but then I stored it away in its original box.
The frame is a substantial metal one that complements the artwork well. Although it's a small framed picture, about 25x30cm, it has a strong presence.
The acrylic cover has some minor dirt and marks.
His brief biography from that era is as follows:
Born in Oslo, Norway in 1948.
Patrick Fousse, unsatisfied with urban life, seeks nature and peace, living alone for many years in the vast, remote Norwegian mountains with his 23 dogs.
Based on his years of experience, his artistic talents are diverse.
While woodblock prints are his best-known works, he is also a painter and a writer.
He is also a craftsman who makes traditional Norwegian knives.
He has numerous exhibitions and collections.
