Kanazaki Akebono was born in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture in 1943. He began printmaking in 1972. Selected for the 10th Print Grand Prize Exhibition in 1979. Nominated for the 3rd Newcomer Award Exhibition in 1987. Selected for the 1st Miyako Print Award Exhibition in 1987. Selected for the 2nd Miyako Print Award Exhibition in 1988. Participated in the 3rd Miyako Print Grand Prize Exhibition in 1990.
