This is a long swab specifically designed for the YAMAHA flute with a long rod and wing attachment, allowing you to absorb moisture from inside the flute without disassembling it. (Rod sold separately)

Made with gauze, which has the highest absorbency among fabrics.

It is bag-shaped, so you can put both disassembled rod pieces together in the bag when storing them.

No need to wrap the cloth around the rod, so you can easily remove moisture between performances.

Made with Japanese gauze, it is not only absorbent but also quick-drying, making it ideal for removing moisture from the flute tube!

⁂ Swab Features ⁂

1. The tip of the swab has extra fabric to ensure it can cleanly wipe all the way to the back of the headjoint.

2. The opening of the swab is intentionally made wider to make it easier to insert the rod.

3. Comes with a suede cord
It can be hung on a music stand or other surfaces to dry.

4. While the YAMAHA wing part can get dirty and cannot be washed, this swab can be removed and washed.

⁂ How to Use ⁂

1. Insert the YAMAHA flute long rod with wing attachment into the swab.

2. Insert it into the assembled flute tube and rotate the rod while gently moving it along the inside of the tube to absorb moisture. (Soaking in water will increase absorbency)

♪ If you leave the swab inserted while playing, it will produce no sound, making it great for finger dexterity practice!
