This is an old low table (writing desk) with the appealing, deep texture of wood.

Its well-used surface and calm color are striking, blending naturally into both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, adding a quiet presence to your space.

The tabletop showcases beautiful grain patterns and variations in color that have emerged over time, offering the unique charm of antique furniture where no two pieces are alike.

It comes with two drawers.

[Condition]
Overall, it is solidly constructed and in condition that poses no issues for normal use. Both drawers open and close smoothly.

However, due to its structural characteristics, there is a slight quirk in how they sit flush. (Please refer to photos 15 and 16.)
・For the left drawer (when facing it), the right side sits flush, but the left edge protrudes about 1-3mm.
・For the right drawer (when facing it), the left side sits flush, but the right edge protrudes about 1-3mm.

When aligned in the center, they sit naturally and do not affect usability. Please understand this as an individual characteristic of old furniture.

Additionally, the tabletop shows minor scratches, scuffs, and water rings from age.

Furthermore, there is a gap (separation) in the center of the tabletop.

These are all due to aging and do not affect use. We believe they are within the range that can be enjoyed as the authentic patina of antique items.

[Shipping]
The item will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and securely packed with rolled cardboard for shipping.
