★What is Tsuge Kushi (Boxwood Comb)?★

Tsuge Kushi is made by carving boxwood, hand-carving the comb teeth, and carefully polishing them. This is a technique passed down from ancient Japan.
It generates less static electricity and friction heat, making it less likely to tangle hair and helping to prevent split ends and breakage.
By lightly soaking the boxwood comb in camellia oil, you can add shine to your hair with every use.
Boxwood is hard and durable, so it can be used for decades.
Incidentally, in the Edo period, gifting a comb to a woman was said to signify a marriage proposal.
