This is a pair of Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) boots.
This is a model that predates the Combat Boots Type 3. While JSDF boots are typically brown, dark brown, or a purplish-brown, this is a black model that was only issued to a very small number of JSDF personnel.
It was worn by early SBU (Special Boarding Unit) members as seen in magazines. It is a model that is difficult to obtain nowadays.
It appears to have been used a few times after purchase.
The purchase was made on the condition that the label be removed.
The manufacturer is AOKI, and the size is 27cm, as written on the sole.
The heel of the sole was missing from the time of purchase.
Older JSDF boots had a heel that was attached afterward, and it was common for just the heel to come off during training. I believe it can be repaired, so this is being listed with that in mind.
