It is difficult to adjust fractional violins with pegs, but fractional violins purchased through personal import or older violins often do not have them.
There are also fine tuners that attach individually to each string, but they are difficult for small children to handle.
Also, cheap tailpieces from Chinese brands quickly go out of tune, which can lead to a frustrating situation where young children get bored with constant tuning and their lessons don't progress.

After trying various options, I found that the Wittner tailpiece with built-in fine tuners was the easiest to use.
We used this tailpiece for 2 months, but switched to a brown tailpiece to match the chin rest, so this one is no longer needed.
