This is a matcha bowl made with Kyoto's representative traditional crafts, Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki.
It features the Ninsei-utsushi technique, which inherits the style of the master craftsman of the Edo period, Ninsei Nonomura. This technique involves applying vibrant colored glazes and gold leaf to a warm base with fine crazing (small cracks in the glaze).
