Description
This coaster is woven with 1 cm wide tape.
It is adorned with birch cubes, leather cords, and wooden beads.
All processes, from harvesting to processing, are done by myself using birch bark from Nagano Prefecture.
Due to the limited amount harvested, I cannot weave large baskets like those made from Russian or Nordic birch, but I strive to offer them at an affordable price.
This is a coaster with a simple and warm atmosphere. It is resistant to moisture but weak to dryness. Applying plant oil occasionally will help maintain its suppleness.
As this is handmade by an amateur, there may be some splinters, but I hope you will enjoy them as part of its charm.
