I build amplifier cabinets and speaker cabinets in my spare time between my main job as a furniture maker.
I selected SPF lumber with few knots and used high-quality linden plywood for the back panel.
The flame maple edging gives it a luxurious finish.

Speaker: 12-inch specification
Body: SPF lumber (18mm thick)
Back panel: Linden plywood (15mm thick)
Grille cloth: Wheat
Baffle board: MDF (12mm thick)
Speaker mounting screws: (4-point mounting, 5x20 truss head small screws included)
Speaker mounting hole pitch: (296mm)
Wiring: Switchcraft #11 mono phone jack, insulated washer with shoulder, plastic insulated washer, jack plate (minor scuffs may be present even on new items), BELDEN 9497, Faston terminals (Audio-Technica TL205M, 5.2mm male side), Kester44 solder used
Rubber feet: Commercially available
Finish: Oil stain (oak color), urethane sanding sealer base coat, urethane half-flat finish coat

I have put a lot of effort into making this cabinet meticulously, resulting in a solid construction that also affects its sound.
I hope you will enjoy this cabinet as a base, experimenting with adding sound-absorbing materials, or changing speakers and wiring to find your preferred tone.
The wood grain is continuous as the panels are assembled sequentially.
The older growth rings (which were on the outside of the tree) are on the exterior of the cabinet, just as they were when the tree was growing.
The main body is joined using half-blind dovetail joints.
I strive to build as carefully as possible, but please judge from the photos regarding any scratches, dents, warping, chips, cracks, uneven coloring, uneven finishes, or speaker mounting marks that may have occurred during the manufacturing process.
