This is a new 3-piece set of head corks that fit inside the headjoint of a flute.
If the crown on your headjoint keeps turning to the right, it's highly likely that the head cork is worn out. This will naturally cause air leaks and result in poor sound. In such cases, you need to replace the worn-out head cork.
While many people take their instruments to a repair shop, replacing the cork yourself might be a good option as it's not overly difficult.
We've made this a 3-piece set because you might be in trouble if you make a mistake with just one. Also, if you use a Head Cork Replacement Rod in conjunction with these, the process should go more smoothly.
