While simplifying details, the design aims to place them in the most effective locations. To leverage the crispness characteristic of Japanese paper, a unique round yet sharp form is expressed with a circular silhouette. The leather patch uses nubuck and is stitched with the brand's initials. This denim material was born from the concept of wanting to create denim with a dry touch like defatted meat. Indigo cotton is used for the warp, and Japanese paper for the weft, woven slowly and carefully on old looms. The unique dry texture and moderate crispness of Japanese paper, along with the uniform, flat yarn shape, create a distinctive look not found in regular denim materials.
