Antonio Riva Carmen Wedding Dress in Mikado Silk

This is a custom-made dress inspired by the Carmen dress by Antonio Riva.

The fabric used is Mikado silk, the same as Antonio Riva's dresses.
The color is not pure white, but a slightly creamy white.

It may be a little difficult to see in the photos, but the drape (the flowing hem part at the back) is detachable. When attached, it is long enough to trail on the floor (photos 2, 3, 4, 9), and when detached, it is slightly longer than ankle-length.
I wore the drape for the ceremony and removed it for the reception, opting for a simpler design.

The measurements taken when ordering are also included in the photos for your reference.
There are small marks on the underside of the hem and on the front, but they are likely unnoticeable. Please refer to the photos.

I lost about 3kg between ordering and the actual event.
However, as the dress was made to fit snugly with the expectation of weight loss, it was a little loose on the day.

The dress can be altered at a dress alteration shop. If you are in the Tokai region and need a recommendation, I can provide one.

I wanted to wear an Antonio Riva dress, but I couldn't find a design I liked among the rental options, and the rental fees were also high, so I had this custom-made dress created.

I would be happy if someone could wear this dress that I put so much effort into making.
