1970s ★ Rolex ★ Buckle 16mm ★ Unused item without packaging

This is a 16mm Rolex Stainless Steel Buckle that was handled in the United States by Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc., the American subsidiary of Rolex SA in Switzerland, in the 1970s.
The images show the same product taken out of its packaging.
It has been stored for a total of several decades in a used watch store and at my home. The packaging has scratches and discoloration, but the item inside was in new condition with protective plastic attached, as shown in the images.
I acquired it over 30 years ago when there were several watch stores within the Farmers Market in Los Angeles.
I purchased several because they were rare, but I never ended up using them as I didn't have many Rolexes with leather straps, and time passed.
