This item belonged to my grandmother and has been stored for a long time.
It is new and unused, but due to long-term storage, there are stains on the box and Japanese paper it was wrapped in.
The hanger itself is clean.

This is a Wajima-nuri lacquerware item. It seems difficult to obtain such items as not many are being produced due to the earthquake.
It is light and smooth to the touch, and seems suitable for silk kimonos.
