This is a Nina Ricci pochette from about 30 years ago.
I received it from my mother and used it, but the part connecting the main body and the shoulder strap has broken. See image 2.
The shoulder strap is forcibly tied to the zipper, so I think it's better to remove it.
It has a very cute design, so how about repurposing it?
You could remove the shoulder strap and use it as a pouch.
The zipper works smoothly.
