This is a Holton Cornet Collegiate model.
With a deep mouthpiece for a short cornet, it seems possible to achieve a soft tone like a flugelhorn.
The lacquer remains beautiful, but there are dents and signs of repair.
Based on the serial number, we estimate the instrument to be from around 1964.
I purchased this from an overseas website a few years ago, but I have less opportunity to play it, so I am listing it for sale.
A used Yamaha Short Cornet Mouthpiece 11E4 is included as a bonus.
It did not come with a case, so we will ship it in the trumpet case shown in the image.
(The side handle has signs of repair.)
