The Cantabile finished oboe reeds are completely handmade.
To accommodate your preferences as much as possible, such as weight and personal taste,
we create each reed from raw cane after receiving your order.

We often encounter cane with unique patterns during reed making.
While these reeds play just as well, they are difficult to sell as standard products, so we've always kept them for personal use.
This time, we've decided to offer them as a trial product.
We've used recycled staples to keep the price down. (This is why we've listed them as Used - Like New, but the reeds themselves are, of course, unused.)
We wanted you to try them, so we initially priced them at ¥1300 per reed. However, due to rising material costs, we have increased the price by ¥200 as of October 15, 2022.

The material of the cane varies from reed to reed, so the playing feel and tone will naturally differ slightly.
We believe purchasing a set of 2-3 reeds is enjoyable, but it's also perfectly fine to purchase one first, and if you're interested, order again!

These reeds offer resistance and produce a dark, German oboe-like sound.
They are suitable for players without a biting habit.

To ensure the reed lasts longer and stays clean (as they are made to prevent air leaks), we do not use tape.
