They gained attention for their earthy, groovy, soul-filled sound and were chosen as the opening act for Paul Weller's European tour, further boosting their profile. In 2000, they debuted with the album Onka's Big Moka, which reached number 5 in the UK charts and sold over 500,000 copies, cementing their status as a popular band.

Magic Hotel

The second album from the UK funky rock group Toploader, whose debut album became a smash hit with the single Dancing in the Moonlight, which was a hit in the UK and Japan.
The album opens with an uplifting track reminiscent of Sly's Dance to the Music. Overall, the album strongly reflects the influence of 60s-70s West Coast music, making the decision to record in Los Angeles understandable.
