JR LaFleur & Son was a musical instrument manufacturer founded in London in 1862 and acquired in 1917 by the predecessor company of the current Boosey & Hawkes. This instrument was released under the LaFleur name as one of Boosey & Hawkes's provided labels.
While the exact manufacturing period is unknown, based on the shape of the lever parts and the distinctive wrap also seen on a semi-double horn from ORSI MILANO (also listed separately), it is likely from the latter half of the 20th century.
As shown in the images, there is overall oxidation due to age and two dents on the bell tubing. However, there are no critical issues or solder joint failures, and all rotary valves and slides are functioning well.
A replacement main tuning slide is included, and although manufacturer documentation is unavailable and its exact function is uncertain, it appears to reverse F⇔B♭. (Please consider this an extra as its function is not guaranteed.)
It has a compact wrap, is lightweight, and easy to handle. I used it as a secondary instrument, but I am now selling it as part of decluttering. As this instrument is no longer manufactured, it may also have historical value.
