【Rare】Kühnel Flugelhorn - Old Kühnel - Made in France

This is a highly popular and rare old Kühnel flugelhorn.

The top model, Couesnon Monopole.

Purchased from a wind instrument shop several years ago.
Kühnel is a representative of vintage flugelhorns, and was also a comprehensive musical instrument manufacturer in Paris, France, producing various instruments.
It is now becoming increasingly valuable due to its rarity.

Likely similar to the Monopole models No. 139 or No. 141.

Pre-World War II Kühnel was one of the world's largest musical instrument manufacturers, and this is the Monopole, their top-of-the-line model from that era.

The bell has a small but clear MONO POLE engraving.
There are scratches and plating peeling in various places, but it is in playable condition.

The pistons are not stuck.
The sound is, as expected from Kühnel, with good articulation, a soft yet centered tone (this is a personal opinion).
The pitch is not as good as modern Yamahas, but the expressive range is wide.

How about it as a vintage collection piece, or as a second instrument for playing jazz, etc.?
