This is a spring for the V. Bach water key.
Unlike the stock spring, which has a straight section that can snag and break, this spring has its tip rounded, similar to YAMAHA artist models.
Each spring is rounded by hand, so the degree of roundness may vary slightly from one to another, but the overall size of the rounded portion is nearly identical.
Multiple units can be purchased; please inquire for details.
This spring will result in clearer tone, sharper definition, and reduced tonal inconsistencies from top to bottom.
* Can also be fitted to YAMAHA artist models (see images 4 & 5). The impression is that it provides a slightly sharper tone and a thicker core compared to genuine YAMAHA springs.
