This is a curved taper type headjoint for the Pearl Flute Maesta MD925.

Vivo (VO)
Characterized by its rich volume across all registers, balanced blowing feel, and wide dynamic range.

The headcrown (parabolic type) was purchased separately and is made of solid silver with rose gold plating. I believe it cost less than ¥25,000. It is more expensive than the solid silver type. I think I purchased it last summer or fall. My memory is a bit hazy, apologies.
It seems to create a calmer and clearer tone.
As it is not gold, it was handed over wrapped in something like bandages and placed in a transparent bag, without a box or case.
If you confirm with Mr. Tagumi from Yushima Pearl Flute, you will know this is true.

I believe my headjoint is a straightforward headjoint that blends well in concert bands, orchestras, and ensembles.
I would recommend this for those who envision a sparkling, light, or soft sound.

*This listing is for the headjoint only. A case is not included.
It will be packed with cushioning material to minimize vibration as much as possible.

The headcrown will remain as it was at the time of sale, but will be wrapped in cushioning material.

*Balance adjustment was performed on May 24, 2025, with the entire flute, including the headjoint, being inspected. The headjoint had no issues; only the key balance of the body and footjoint was adjusted by Mr. Yoshida.
