Antique Chinese Metal Tea Caddy with Engraved Motifs of Pine and Deer, Bamboo and Crane, and Auspicious Designs - Sencha Tea Ceremony Utensil

This is an antique Chinese metal tea caddy (chaire).
It has a very charming, deep color that is characteristic of antiques that have passed through time.

The side is engraved with the name of an old tea shop (?), 老興記茶莊 (Lao Xing Ji Tea Zhuang), and the other side is inscribed with the auspicious traditional phrase (吉祥句 - kisshōku), 長命昌宜 侯王吉日 (Chang Ming Chang Yi Hou Wang Ji Ri).
Furthermore, it features delicate carvings of pine and deer and bamboo and crane, symbols of longevity and prosperity, making it a very elaborate piece.

The bottom has the inscription 潮陽 顏盛和 (Chao Yang Yan Sheng He). (Chao Yang is a place name in Guangdong Province, China.)

The material is believed to be old pewter, but the exact material is unknown.
It has a substantial metallic feel.
