A romantic horror set in modern London, depicting the love between an immortal vampire and a woman who looks exactly like his Lovers. Based on Edgar Allan Poe's poem Annabel Lee, this is a Japanese-British co-production directed, conceived, and scripted by Shimako Sato, who studied filmmaking at the London International Film School, with funding from Japan and production by British staff and cast. Jane Corbet is the co-writer. Julian Sands from Naked Lunch plays the vampire Alex, and Susanna Hamilton from 1984 plays the heroine Virginia.
