Rare! Vintage Cornet, circa 1920!
This is a cornet made by F. X. Hller & Company, Graslitz in Czechoslovakia.
It is from around 1920 and is generally slimmer and very light compared to modern cornets.
The tone has an indescribable warm sound.
I owned it as a collector's item, but I repaired it to be playable, including dent removal and adjustment of all slides, and actually used it in solo concerts.
The design is also very unusual, and I believe playable instruments from this era are quite rare.
I have too many cornets, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
It comes with the original mouthpiece.
